Straight as an Arrow
The Story
Carter Jensen, a college football running back who insists he is straight, moves into a shared apartment with Elliot, a quiet and skilled queer art student. Their daily interactions spark a confusing attraction that Carter refuses to acknowledge. For months, he denies his hidden feelings through fake dates, pointless stunts designed to prove his heterosexuality, jealous outbursts, and clumsy near-misses. After a full season of tangled tension and inner turmoil, Carter finally abandons his denial. At the championship dinner, he publicly confesses his love for Elliot. In that moment, he accepts his true identity alongside his artist roommate, leaving behind the facade he has maintained for so long.
