Taken by the Siren

The Story

A researcher discovers that the docile mermaid she has been studying is actually a conniving sea monster ruling the deep ocean. She teaches the creature a courtship dance, but it mistakes her kindness for a marriage proposal. When she attempts to flee, the monster imprisons her by force. A tender promise made a decade ago is long forgotten, yet the obsessive creature clings stubbornly to its longing. The researcher falls from a scientist to prey, trapped in an endless cycle of tragic romance, rivalry, and tangled love at sea.
