The Story

Elliot moves into Fredric’s home to fulfill a family arrangement and bear his child. The couple has shared a secret connection for five years, yet Fredric remains cold and suspicious. He believes Elliot is a spy placed there by his stepmother and actively makes her life difficult. Despite his hostility, Elliot has quietly supported him during his most vulnerable moments. Her presence is a constant, even as he pushes her away with every harsh word and action. The tension between them grows thicker as the years pass. Eventually, Elliot decides to leave. Only after she departs does Fredric realize the depth of his feelings. He understands too late that the woman he fought against was the one who truly cared for him.
