That Impostor, in My Three Uncles' Arms

The Story

Emma’s passing leaves her ailing daughter, Joey, vulnerable and alone. An impostor steals her identity, forcing Joey to endure abuse as a mistreated orphan under the roof of her own uncles. After suffering a frame-up, she severs ties and finds refuge with her mother’s friend, Jessica. When the truth finally emerges, the uncles offer desperate pleas for mercy. Joey responds only with icy silence.
