The Appletons Can Hear My Thoughts

The Story

Berry, a blueberry maid, awakens trapped inside a novel featuring the wealthy Appleton family. She recognizes Adrian, their adopted son, as a fraudulent heir plotting to destroy them. However, Berry remains unaware that Arthur, Richard, and Evelyn can hear her inner monologue. Her accidental revelations of Adrian’s schemes trigger the return of Noah, the long-lost true heir. This unexpected development derails the intended plot and shifts Berry from a quiet observer into a primary target for Adrian’s retaliation.
