The Baroness's Heirs
The Story
Isabella, a noble lady married to gay Baron Richard, faces false accusations of a curse and infertility. She takes decisive action to secure heirs and protect her family’s standing. With three men, she bears two sons and a daughter named Eleanor. These partners include Arthur, an impoverished scholar who becomes Grand Chancellor; Reynold, a rugged blacksmith serving as Crusade Commander; and Duke Edwin, the King’s nephew. Isabella actively combats her husband’s hypocrisy and slander. She relies on public opinion and legal contracts to defend her position against the accusations leveled against her.
