The Story

The kingdom's deadliest archer wears a mask to hide the face scarred by the fire that took his wife, son, and sight. He rejects the crown's authority to track down the arsonist in secret. His path crosses with an eleven-year-old heir, whom he rescues and serves as a protector. Guarding the boy reveals a horrifying secret: the king who raised him ordered the blaze that destroyed his family. The archer smashes the royal crown and plummets into a canyon below. The monarch escapes the fall and remains alive. He now seeks the return of his most dangerous weapon.
