The Bookworm and the Playboy

The Story

Hazel’s confession lands with a flat rejection, leaving the bookish scholar humiliated by her lack of experience. Determined to close that gap, she targets Jax, the campus playboy known for his casual conquests. She proposes a strict contract: he will tutor her in the art of romance, and they will keep things strictly professional. What begins as a transactional arrangement quickly spirals out of control. Their daily bickering gives way to intimate moments that blur the line between duty and desire. Just as their feelings deepen, the boy who originally dismissed Hazel returns, demanding her attention. His reappearance ignites a fierce emotional battle, forcing both Hazel and Jax to confront what they truly want. The rational scholar and the unrestrained playboy navigate this tangled web of past regrets and present longing, discovering that their contractual bond has evolved into something far more complicated and real.
