The Captain's Roommate

The Story

Hayden Cross infiltrates her father’s football academy disguised as the illegitimate son Knox. She shares a room with captain Sebastian Hale, who shields her identity when the deception unravels. Instead of exposing her, he proposes marriage. The pair confronts assassins dispatched by her stepmother and navigates rigid family trust clauses. Hayden battles these threats on the pitch, culminating in a final penalty kick at Wembley. Her victory shatters the empire’s ban on women players. The incident rewrites history for every girl told football is not for them.
