The Captain's Substitute

The Story

SWAT officer Zoe Sutton once saved civilian Julian Landon years ago. She later fell for her commanding officer, Captain Jace Jensen, and prepared for their wedding. That plan crumbled when she learned Jace still harbored deep feelings for Ava Shaw. He treated Zoe as a stand-in for the woman he could not forget. Zoe rejects this role and turns to Julian, the CEO who has long pursued her affection. Meanwhile, Jace remains oblivious to the truth. Ava Shaw deceives many men, yet he never sees through her lies.
