The Carpenter's Conscience
The Story
Wind-Rain Bridge requires urgent repair, sparking a conflict between traditional master Agung Sutanto and modern contractor Dharma Wijaya. Dharma secures the bid through low costs and rapid execution, but Agung fears the foundation rests on loose gravel rather than bedrock, making it vulnerable to flash floods. Dharma’s son, Lin, recognizes the impending danger and turns to Agung for assistance. When Agung pleads to halt the work, he faces accusations of jealousy. The bridge’s safety hangs by a single thread.
