The CEO's Secret Future Crush

The Story

Chase Cheng jolts awake from a car crash, claiming he has traveled back from 2035. He immediately embraces Hale Howe, Jo Cheng’s cold and aloof boss, and loudly declares him his brother-in-law. This bizarre outburst occurs right after Jo receives a reprimand from Hale. Chase further disrupts the scene by revealing that Jo and Hale are destined to marry in the future. He also exposes that Hale has harbored a secret crush on Jo for years. The chaotic younger brother’s mortifying public announcement completely upends the professional dynamic between the two. Jo is left stunned by her brother’s absurd revelations and Hale’s sudden vulnerability. The rigid boundaries of their workplace relationship shatter under the weight of this unexpected future knowledge. Chase’s presence forces both characters to confront feelings they have long suppressed. The situation escalates from a simple disciplinary meeting into a tangled web of future predictions and hidden affections.
