The Chairman's Sweet Revenge

The Story

Jiang Yi has guarded Su Xiao for over two decades, but he has just realized his feelings are romantic while she views him strictly as a sworn brother. Devoted to her career and searching for a serious partner, she harbors zero romantic interest in him. After drafting his pursuit strategy eighty times, Jiang Yi attempts to make his move, only to fail spectacularly each time. He fakes a fever to gain her concern, but she responds by handing him three boxes of medicine and a detailed home care guide. He reserves a romantic restaurant for a confession, yet she brings her entire department for a free meal, praising his charitable nature in front of her colleagues. Finally, he corners her with a proposal ring, but she immediately hands him an invitation to her godson's hundred-day banquet. She assigns him the role of godfather, expecting him to provide the largest gift for the celebration.
