The Cheerleader Who Wouldn't Shut Up
The Story
Twelve-year-old chatterbox Peyton lands community service at Wyatt Ranch, where she discovers the heir locked in the tack room. Wyatt suffers from traumatic mutism following his mother’s death and abuse by former trainer Luke. Peyton forces her way through a window, breaking his silence with relentless talk and sign language. She reveals that Luke once trapped Wyatt in a horse trailer for three days, prompting her to push him toward the Houston rodeo qualifiers. Sabotage leads to Wyatt’s fall, but the truth secures a rematch and victory. Wyatt advances to the youth team, defeating top rivals to earn an invite to the Calgary Stampede Academy. Refusing a year-long lockdown alone, Peyton trains for three months to win an escort spot. She masters the arena one-handed despite sabotaged reins. Exposing the culprit, they secure their future. Wyatt reclaims his voice while Peyton finds her purpose in their mutual healing.
