The Comeback Chef

The Story

David Lawson, an aging chef, faces the contempt of his son Howard and daughter-in-law. Heartbroken, he abandons his home to sell egg fried rice. There, he reconnects with Wyatt Hong, a CEO who was once a homeless boy David helped. Wyatt provides the support needed to reopen Lawson's Kitchen. When Howard's company collapses, the son and his wife take jobs under David's supervision. David guides his son through the kitchen. He then secures a contract by winning a culinary competition. This victory brings the family back together and allows David to franchise his restaurant.
