The Contract Wife Who Was Once Loved
The Story
Three years of vegetative coma end when she wakes up, only to face a world where her identity has been stolen. Her childhood sweetheart remains devoted to the woman he believes is his true love, unaware that the wife standing before him is a fraud. A scheming woman deceived his mother into signing a marriage contract, forcing the union with a strict one year no divorce clause. Consumed by jealousy, this rival kidnapped the original woman, switched their faces through plastic surgery, and burned her vocal cords to silence her. The attacker then threw the victim into a fire, causing the identities to swap permanently. Surviving the blaze, she emerges mute and suffering from amnesia. She now lives under the guise of her enemy, enduring abuse and scorn from the man who once cared for her. With her appearance and memory completely altered, she navigates this new life while secretly plotting to reclaim her true self and exact her revenge.
