The Story

A golden goblet holds a deadly secret that transforms touch into precious metal at the cost of the user's life. In her previous existence, the protagonist saved a homeless man who was actually the Wine God in disguise. He gifted her the vessel, but a power-hungry prince exploited her abilities. Her jealous sister eventually killed her, forcing her to turn the enemy family to gold in her final breath. The Wine God revealed she was his daughter and reversed time to grant her a second chance. This time, her sister steals the goblet first and claims the Midas Touch for herself. The prince continues chasing power while the curse takes its toll. The sister's body decays, and greed consumes the entire court. Everyone is destroyed by their own desires. The protagonist watches from the shadows and lets them bring about their own ruin without interference.
