The Story

Emily’s seven years of devotion to Blake shatter when he forces mango on her, falsely accuses her of a kidnapping, and slashes her wrist, destroying her piano dreams. She leaves him behind, and though Blake learns the truth and begs for her return, she calmly cites the fruit, the blade, the shard, and the road. He accepts her decision and lets go.
