The Don Let Me Burn

The Story

A steel bar pierces her chest as flames consume the vehicle, trapping her in agony. Her husband’s cold voice cuts through the smoke: no one helps her, let her burn. Then her phone connects to him, four years in the past. The boy who once begged for her hand watches her die, while the man he became refuses to save her. He believes she lies. He remains unaware she carries his baby. This is the final time he will ever hear her voice.
