The Story

Sofia, the final red dragon, stands bound by an ancient pact with the crown. Centuries after King George II signed the agreement, a weakened Sofia is sold into slavery. Heir Grace purchases her, instantly reactivating the dormant bond between them. Grace resists the responsibility, demanding Sofia prove her value. The dragon’s singing voice brings fame, but it also draws the jealousy of Mary-Anne, who falsely brands her a witch. Grace repeatedly risks her own life to protect Sofia from these attacks. The dying Queen’s recovery finally forces the crown to honor the old contract. Reginald schemes to eliminate Sofia using dragon-blood bullets. In the end, Sofia sacrifices herself for Grace, turning to ash. A snowy night brings her back to life as a mortal. The two women set aside their heavy burdens to live solely for one another.
