The Durian's Revenge

The Story

Miss Durian endures daily abuse from her mother-in-law, Lady Osmanthus, while her husband, Mr. Sugarcane, remains indifferent. Although she keeps the clan storage rot-free for a decade, her sharp thorns and pungent stench lead to her shunning. After bearing a child, she is framed and stripped of her defenses, then dumped in the trash. A Cantonese chef discovers her, revealing her creamy fragrance and transforming her into a premium Golden Pillow Durian. At the grand Scent Ceremony, her former tormentors grovel. They become desperate for her scent, reversing the dynamic that once defined their relationship.
