The Emperor's Northern Rescue

The Story

Prince Cyrus Chase flees the Cold Palace with no gold to fund his escape. His sworn brother, Luke Rowe, sacrifices his entire fortune and drinks poison to ensure Cyrus survives. Years later, Cyrus ascends the throne and discovers Luke suffering under wrongful accusations in a labor camp. Cyrus clears Luke's name and punishes his enemies, Zane Sloane and his daughter. He supports Luke in reviving the Rowe Trading Company. Meanwhile, Luke's daughter, Nora Rowe, rises to become a female imperial physician. The bond between the two men endures through betrayal and hardship, proving that their loyalty remains unbroken despite the passage of time and the shifting tides of power.
