The Story

Bitter rivals Empress Lana Shaw and Aurora Sheridan forge an unlikely alliance after Lana rescues Aurora from the cruel clutches of her in-laws. Aurora’s husband, Grand General Wyatt Ashton, had supposedly perished, leaving her vulnerable to their abuse. The two women settle their differences to protect Aurora and her daughter, only to discover that Wyatt faked his death. Lana captures him, but Wyatt retaliates by falsely accusing Aurora of an affair with the Grand Tutor. The former enemies strike back against his lies. They expose his embezzlement of military funds and his deceptive manipulation of the emperor, bringing his fraudulent scheme to a decisive end.
