The Empress's Conquest

The Story

Rosalind Lowell wakes up in a new body after the Lord Arbiter reaps her soul by mistake. Now a princess, she plans to waste wealth and chase casual flings while staying completely detached. Her carefree strategy crashes into a general who demands her heart. Rosalind insists she only wants quick affairs, but the general refuses to let her off the hook. He declares that his money and his heart both belong to her highness. He accuses her of trying to default on the debt she has already incurred.
