The Eyes He Gave Me

The Story

Sloane, a surgical prodigy, hides her identity as a housewife for three years within a wealthy marriage. A fatal car accident exposes her husband Grayson’s betrayal as he carries away Victoria, forcing Sloane to endure the horrifying harvest of her corneas while alive. Divorced and devastated, she stages a brilliant comeback at a medical summit. Her true status as a wealthy heiress is later revealed at a family banquet, causing the mother-in-law who once humiliated her to kneel in begging forgiveness. The revelation that Victoria started a fire twenty-eight years ago that killed her own child drives the antagonist mad. Victoria hires thugs to throw acid in Sloane’s face, destroying her sight. Grayson secretly makes the ultimate sacrifice, trading his own vision to restore hers. Three years later, the radiant Sloane and the blind Grayson pass each other in a crowd. Her newly restored eyes suddenly shed an uncontrollable tear.
