The Foreman's Revenge

The Story

Vera Warner insults the laborers at her dumpling restaurant, setting off a conflict that reshapes the local food scene. Shane refuses to fight dirty. Instead, he constructs a Workers' Canteen directly on the construction site. He secures necessary permits and hires the workers' own family members to run the operation. The new facility opens to great success, keeping the crew well fed. Meanwhile, Vera’s restaurant falls into desolation as customers abandon her establishment for the new, community-focused alternative.
