The Fraud Wheelchair Husband: All Episodes

The Story

Eileen works around the clock to fund an advanced smart prosthetic for her supposedly paralyzed husband, Evan, while his college friend Leah assists with household duties. The day the device arrives, a house fire kills their five-year-old son, Jackie, and Evan cuts his wrists in apparent grief. At the hospital, Eileen hears Evan and Leah admit that his paralysis is a lie designed to keep Leah close, and that he deliberately ignored the fire to protect his secret. She masks her horror while secretly collecting evidence, eventually retrieving burnt security footage from the ruins. Evan leverages the tragedy to claim inheritance rights from the Harris family and announces a divorce at his grandson’s memorial, intending to marry Leah. After repairing the video, Eileen secures irrefutable proof of Leah’s arson and Evan’s inaction. At their grand cathedral wedding, she plays the footage publicly. Elder Harris suffers a stroke, and the event becomes a scandal across New York.
