The Genius Intern

The Story

Vera, an elite trauma surgeon, vanishes to evade a massive two hundred and forty million dollar claim. She reinvents herself as the most lazy intern in an LA emergency room, deliberately submitting incomplete charts and avoiding official signatures. While colleagues dismiss her as a failure, her sharp instincts reveal critical patient issues that automated systems overlook. The deception shatters when her old nemesis arrives with the intent to expose her true identity. A sudden twelve hour toxic crisis forces an immediate decision. Vera must choose between maintaining her hidden status or finally signing her real name to save lives.
