The Ghost of Us

The Story

Lieutenant Ryan Cross dies on the battlefield, yet his unfinished business pulls him back to the world of the living as a spirit. He watches his wife, Alice, from the shadows, but she remains unaware of his presence. Convinced that her husband is merely avoiding her, Alice grows suspicious and believes he is having an affair. Consumed by fury, she decides to take revenge by marrying another man. Her plans reach a critical point on her wedding day. As her car drives toward the ceremony, it passes directly by Ryan’s funeral procession. The sight of the caskets and mourners confronts her with the painful truth she has been denying. This accidental encounter shatters her perception of reality. She is left standing before the very evidence of her husband’s death, forced to face the ghost she has been ignoring all along.
