The Story

Ava Vale arrives at The Morrow Vault beneath New York City, a facility where she must serve as a janitor and deliver food to dangerous creatures. Her foster father sold her to this mysterious organization after she accumulated debt with the underground, following years of abuse in a foster home where he claimed kindness but treated her as cheap labor. A warden mocks her new reality, warning that the monsters only eat those who do not obey. On her first day, the facility loses power, causing alarms to blare and allowing the monsters to escape their containment. The warden expects Ava to be torn apart while wealthy owners watch via surveillance, waiting for her death. Instead of falling victim to the chaos, all the monsters rush to Ava and kneel before her.
