The God of Wealth's Test

The Story

A divine figure disguises himself as a beggar to evaluate human nature through a simple lottery ticket. Wang Chunhua emerges victorious, claiming one million yuan in prize money. Her younger daughter-in-law immediately covets the fortune, yet Chunhua chooses to lend the cash to rescue a sick child. She acts despite fierce obstruction from family members. The child reveals herself as the mortal avatar of Guanyin, who responds to the kindness by performing miracles. She cures the eldest son's severe disease and resolves the eldest daughter-in-law's long-standing infertility. Meanwhile, Chunhua's restaurant flourishes thanks to a special Fortune Cake recipe. The scheming younger son and his wife attempt to steal this secret, but their efforts result in total failure.
