The Golden Strangler: A Parasite's Revenge

The Story

A blood-stained vine crawls back into the greenhouse with a deadly purpose. Golden Silk, a rootless plant, once mistook her parasitic existence with Red Scale, a millennium-old Dragon Blood Tree, for genuine affection. After he discarded her in favor of a new Venus Flytrap, calling her a mere prototype, she was cast into a piranha pool. This brutal exile triggered a terrifying evolution. She now possesses the power to strangle and decide which plants wither. Returning to the source of her pain, she targets those who scorned her, draining their life force in a calculated act of retribution. As Red Scale succumbs to his own failing health, he begs for her return. The once-doddering parasite now holds the power of life and death over her former host, having transformed from a dependent organism into a lethal predator within the botanical world.
