The Green Tea Stand-in’s Road to Power

The Story

Agent X transmigrates into a romance novel as Elowen, the substitute for male lead Reese. The original owner died murdered by her beloved Soraya, leaving a final wish to rewrite fate. Elowen ignores Reese, instead exploiting his guilt and obsession to drain his resources. She dismantles Soraya's protective network while raising Reese's affection from ten to one hundred percent. In the process, she secures the Moon Shore Villa, ten percent of Calder Group shares, and a project director title. She also turns allies Tristan and Jasper against her. When the situation seems like a simple power struggle, Elowen corners Soraya on a rooftop. She reveals that Reese was never the target. Her true goal was to strip Soraya of all support to prove that men are unreliable and only self-reliance matters. Reese discovers this truth via a hidden bug in a necklace. He drugs and imprisons Elowen, attempting to trap her in the fictional world forever.
