The Story

Pan Jun returns to his village with A Wei to marry Shen Xuewei, seeking to honor his grandmother’s dying wish. The Shen family despises him, and their hostility peaks on the wedding day. Shen Biao, Shen Xuewei’s cousin, forces Pan Jun to kneel and eat from a dog bowl. He also demands that Pan Jun sign a vasectomy consent form. While Pan Jun is beaten and A Wei is restrained, Shen Xuewei watches coldly without offering any defense. Pan Jun realizes the family never truly accepted him. He throws down his bank card and plays an audio recording of Shen Xuewei’s affair with Ding Feng. Chaos erupts as the Shen mother and daughter turn on each other. Pan Jun walks away from the village.
