The Hanged Girl on the Flagpole

The Story

Ava’s ten years of devotion to Ethan end when he binds her to a flagpole as a cruel prank for his new crush, Chloe. The humiliation plays out before the entire school, forcing Ava to break free and transfer to Westbridge High. She cuts all ties with Ethan and finds comfort among kind friends and Noah, who steps in to protect her. Over time, Ethan discovers that Chloe manipulated him and realizes that Ava genuinely fears him. He attempts to apologize, but Ava firmly refuses his presence. The school district steps in to punish both Ethan and Chloe for their actions. Ava finally allows herself to smile, leaving the past behind without looking back.
