The Heiress Who Came Back

The Story

Mercer BioTech dominates Seattle’s medical technology sector, yet its true founder, Eleanor Mercer, has been erased from history. After a car accident, her husband Richard and his mistress Vanessa forged a power of attorney to seize her shares and executed her DNR order prematurely. Three-year-old Evelyn witnessed the betrayal, surviving a chase by Vanessa’s bodyguard Frank Ward before teenager Noah Carter rescued her. Twenty years later, Evelyn returns to reclaim her life. She presents her mother’s trust documents to secure the Mercer Estate, then leverages a discovered system vulnerability to trigger an emergency cybersecurity audit during a board crisis, instantly joining the executive team. Her stepsister Chloe Mercer, convinced Evelyn only wants the house, teams up with boyfriend Trevor Hayes to frame her for attacking him at a dinner party. Evelyn counters by revealing Trevor’s cooperation agreement and full surveillance footage, causing Chloe to collapse in front of everyone.
