The Story

Holy Heir Elias Grave interrupts a dawn execution in Vesper City to shield the injured vampire Damian Voss. Damian secretly holds the title of the last pure-blood Vampire King. He recovers his memories during his first night under Elias's protection yet conceals his true status. This deception allows him to monitor a Church conspiracy while remaining near the man who saved him. Their protective bond evolves into deep affection as they expose a massive blood-trafficking ring led by the corrupt Cardinal Severin. The network abuses Church hospitals and academies for profit. Severin kidnaps Elias's student to bait the Holy Heir into a deadly trap. Elias, Damian, a knight, and an archivist join forces to raid Estate Eighteen, the operation's central hub. They dismantle the conspiracy and sign a new Peace Treaty. Elias publicly selects Damian as his equal and beloved partner.
