The Story

Micah, a thirty-two-year-old skater, lost his spot on the national team six years ago after shattering his ankle in the Olympic final. He has trained in isolation under a hidden identity ever since. Ash, a twenty-one-year-old data specialist, approaches him while claiming to write a graduation thesis. She uses a delayed-rehabilitation program to help him return to the ice. The pair start by testing each other before eventually fighting side by side. They break through head coach Karl’s covert blockade from within the rules. Together, they complete humanity’s first-ever quadruple Axel.
