The Junk Boys' Golden Eye

The Story

Kyle Carter’s golden X-ray vision peels back the surface of antiques to expose hidden forgeries. Desperate to fund his mother’s critical surgery, he is forced by Hugo, a counterfeit dealer, to urinate on an expensive painting at an upscale salon. The stunt ends in a brutal beating by security guards. When Kyle strikes his head and bleeds, his power surges to full strength. He immediately reveals a modern barcode beneath the masterpiece, proving it is a fake. In the ensuing chaos, he grabs an elderly man’s electric wheelchair and flees. Speeding through the venue, he smashes Hugo’s imitation porcelain and incinerates plastic replicas posing as amber. Each exposed fraud prompts wealthy patrons to demand refunds from Hugo. Sophia, a top appraiser, arrives and confirms the painting is forged. Hugo refuses to honor the buying agreement. He humiliates Kyle by offering only a five-dollar cheque.
