The Kidnapper Who Stole My Heart

The Story

Raina Elliott’s silence hides a decade of unspoken love for Rhett Southwell, the boy who became her light after she lost her voice at seven. When her sister flees the altar, Raina agrees to marry him, her internal scream of yes drowned out by her public quiet. Their wedding night shatters when danger forces him to send her abroad for safety. Four years of separation leave her heartbroken as she returns only to be pushed away by the man she adores. Desperate and alone, she stumbles upon a voice changing phone during a robbery. She seizes the opportunity to become the kidnapper, sending anonymous divorce demands to Rhett from the shadows.
