The Story

Margaret’s extraordinary sense of smell belies her quiet control over an entire apartment building she has secretly owned for six years. While she treats her tenants with familial care, fixing locks and managing daily needs, her young tenant Britney responds with abuse. Along with Jack and others, Britney humiliates, secretly films, and frames Margaret. They hire thugs to smash her flowerpots and physically injure her. Facing perjury and indifference, Margaret finally reveals the property deed to assert her identity as the true landlord. She initiates an eviction plan for the building. Britney attempts to retaliate by playing the victim online to manipulate public opinion. Margaret counters by releasing complete surveillance footage, lawyer letters, and forensic evidence. This exposure reverses the truth and reveals Britney’s past fraud. Britney is eventually convicted of fraud and property damage. After clearing the apartment, Margaret entrusts it to a professional team. She then buys a campervan and travels alone to Yellowstone, Grand Teton, the Grand Canyon, and Sequoia National Park.
