The Story

Henry Smith, a legendary figure in underground gambling, loses his brother David to the murder of his archenemy, Lip Orville. Driven into hiding by this betrayal, Henry is rescued by Sophia and reinvents himself as Carl, a janitor working inside an illegal Chicago casino that masquerades as a speakeasy. His secret past resurfaces when Lip returns, now backed by local mafia boss Don Bazzini. This threat forces Carl back into the ruthless world of gambling. Driven by the need for retribution, he begins to plot his revenge against those who destroyed his life.
