The Mafia Boss Who Loves Me

The Story

Chicago, 1994. Lucy tends to a wounded stranger, unaware that she is binding Ace Cavallo, a feared mafia boss who immediately claims her as his wife. Her fiancé and uncle sell her at her own wedding, prompting Ace to intervene. He offers a thirty day marriage to cover her mother's surgery costs. Lucy accepts, only to discover later that he had already paid the bill. Amidst betrayals and violent attacks, Lucy sees devotion beneath his brutality and confesses her love. The Carters kidnap her, forcing Ace into a deadly blackjack gamble where he takes a bullet. The couple finally wed in an empty church before riding into the night.
