The Medusa of the Fishing Village

The Story

Athena’s curse turns Medusa into a monster, but Helena remains untouched and becomes her closest friend. After Helena elopes and dies, her children bury her body at sea. Medusa puts on Helena’s skin and discovers that her husband abused and murdered the woman. She pretends to submit to him, then uses her petrifying gaze to turn him to stone. The children now have a fierce protector who watches over them.
