The Modern God of War

The Story

A valiant special forces ace refuses to die after a suicide mission, waking up as a fool in the ancient Great Wei nation. He steps in to rescue a bullied princess from Xiongu brutes, seizing their Rouran princess as a hostage before returning home. Recognizing the need for strength, he trains soldiers using modern techniques and executes a decapitation strike that captures the Xiongu ruler. He also discovers saltpeter to manufacture firearms. When a five-nation alliance pressures Great Wei, Chancellor Cai Song urges surrender while plotting assassinations. Xiao Tianchen foils these schemes and uses his new muskets and cannons to destroy the coalition army, uncovering Prince Zhao Zhen as the mastermind. The prince launches a coup and kills the emperor, seizing the throne. Just as he takes power, Xiao Tianchen returns and eliminates him with a pistol, ending the internal turmoil.
