The Mouse-Bearing Consort

The Story

Aivira wakes on the day she entered the palace, determined to reclaim her life after King Leo ordered her death based on Ruby’s lies. She slaps her stepsister and takes sterilizing drugs to prevent any further false accusations. Yet when Ruby becomes pregnant, Aivira’s belly aches with increasing intensity as the months progress. One night, she discovers a gray rat tail hanging from Ruby’s bed. Confronting her stepsister, she demands to know who the father is while the King is away. This time, she aims to win her life back from the shadow of the rat pups she was forced to bear for her sister.
