The Story

Alia, a modest assistant, borrows her boss’s diamond necklace for a masquerade ball and gets mistaken for an heiress. She discovers the woman’s husband plotting to kill her to seize the family fortune. Betrayed, hunted, and disfigured, Alia finds evidence hidden inside the jewelry. She uses this proof to bring the killer to justice. Afterward, she becomes a lawyer dedicated to helping survivors of domestic abuse.
