The Nether King's Bride

The Story

Typhon’s seal beneath Mount Etna weakens as the Age of Gods fades, leaving Hades powerless to stop the threat. The Prophecy Stone identifies a divine heir, born of Hades and a mortal witch, as the only solution. In the mortal realm, Saintess Layra faces execution for volcanic disasters before Hades rescues her and brings her to the Underworld. Bound by the Serpent Soul Pact, she must bear his child or die. Layra initially resists, but Hades’ protection eventually wins her trust, leading to their marriage and consummation. Jealous Minthe torments the new bride, while Nyx imprisons her and falsely claims Layra carries a God-Devouring Curse. Misled and heartbroken, Layra attempts to escape through the Well of Reincarnation. Hades saves her and confesses his love, deepening their bond until Layra becomes pregnant. Hades grows weak and begins avoiding her. Meanwhile, Alector, the high priest who raised her, lures Layra back to the mortal world. He captures her, revealing her witch blood and pursuing his own hidden agenda.
