The New CEO Was Mistaken for the Cleaner

The Story

Adeline returns to Northbridge as the new CEO only to be publicly humiliated by Renee, an ambitious secretary who mistakes her for a cleaner. Renee operates under the secret influence of Cole, Adeline’s husband and the company’s COO. Their confrontation quickly unravels a web of deception involving an affair, a stolen family heirloom, and a pregnancy. This incident exposes a corporate network built on intimidation, favoritism, and traded access. Adeline refuses to let personal betrayal excuse professional corruption. She suspends the culprits, ends her ten-year marriage, and reclaims her home. She then challenges the executives who protect the old system. Facing a boardroom coup, Adeline risks her title to enforce one rule for everyone. She proves that true leadership requires accountability, dignity, and equal access for all members of the organization.
