The Pineapple Experiment: All Episodes

The Story

Auden and his roommate Cassian share a quiet secret after three years of cohabitation. A campus prank forces Auden to notice Cassian’s lingering gaze, shifting the dynamic between them. Through daily routines involving pineapples and strawberries, Cassian offers subtle care, eventually tricking Auden into a first kiss disguised as taste testing. Although Auden labels the experience a mere experiment, his feelings deepen daily. When Cassian departs for a two month exchange program, Auden suffers from intense longing and jealousy. He eats pineapple until the fruit tastes bitter on his tongue. Upon Cassian’s return, Auden confesses his feelings first. They soon face new challenges when Cassian secures an overseas research fellowship and Auden gets a national theater tour. Refusing to let love derail their ambitions, they agree to talk every day, avoid unilateral choices, and never disappear. A year later, Cassian returns on schedule, and they step into their future together in the same city.
